Calder Blake is constantly examining the design and manufacturing process to incorporate better practices from concept to production. The industry standard for packaging and shipping garments is a single-use, clear plastic bag that is thrown away at the shop or by the customer.
The amount of waste and environmental impact this generates inspired the design of The Pouch. Each style sewn in our factory will be shipped in The Pouch, thereby utilizing the waste fabric thrown out in the garment cutting process and creating something beautiful and sustainable instead.
